This small project will allow the connection of PS Audio PWT or Rockna Audio WQT I2S output (via HDMI connector) to any “regular” CMOS input dac. The signals from PWT/WQT are lvds type – four differential pairs. As seen from schematic, the signals are routed into TI’s high-performance SN65LVDS34D and converted into CMOS format. Low-noise LP2992 / 3.3v is used to power up the translator circuits.

For electrolitic capacitors use solid polymer type. All others are ceramic. To keep low dissipation on LP2992 don’t exceed 9vdc on VDD . Enjoy J :)
